Simone Boccalatte is a talented filmmaker born in Forlimpopoli on 29/07/1990, residing in Forlì. He obtained the three-year diploma at the European Institute of Design in Rome in Video Design in 2012 with full marks (100/100).

He began his career working as a Freelance Motion Graphic Designer for various communication and post-production agencies, collaborating with high-level clients such as Eni, Fendi, Studio Universal, Eutelsat and La7.

Subsequently, Simone started collaborating with D'arc Studio as Video Editor and Motiongrapher, working on communication projects for clients such as Poste Italiane, Ministry of Health, Aeroporti di Roma and Vitrociset. This experience has allowed him to acquire the necessary skills to be independent in all the creative phases of the production of a video.

Simone also had the opportunity to teach, holding an Editing and Post Production course at the Sila Art School and a Motion Graphics course at a high school. Furthermore, he directed and produced four video clips, the short film "Petite Magie" selected in 16 festivals with 8 awards and the promo of the docu-series "Anime behind a red nose".

Simone has also collaborated with companies and studios for important clients such as Herbalife, Wacom and Poste Italiane, and has worked as a cameraman and assistant cameraman on numerous sets of short films, documentaries and feature films.

Since 2018 Simone has developed transversal skills in the field of photography and film direction, making feature films as Director of Photography such as: "it's all about love" of which he also edited, "Haunted identity", "Mr. Green" and short films such as: "The Waltz of the Eagles", "Again", "Esperanto", "Maryam", "Greta's Christmas". He has also collaborated as an operator on the documentary films "Potevo farmi santo", "Choose love", "The path of joy", "Vita damodel" and is currently developing as a director in collaboration with UAM.TV the docu series "Origins" on the loss of the origins of the tribes and numerous subjects for feature films, fiction series and documentaries.
